This Friday, 15 May, he has another chance to climb to the very top of Liverpool’s history books. As the Reds travel to Birmingham to face Aston Villa, Salah can write his name even further into the history books. If he manages to provide an assist at Villa Park, the Egyptian will become Liverpool’s all-time leading assist provider in the Premier League with 93 assists.
He will overtake Steven Gerrard, with whom he is currently level on 92. This matchday 37 of the Premier League season therefore looks set to be a crucial one for Mohamed Salah personally.
