Mohamed Salah Could Join Al Hilal for Club World Cup

Mohamed Salah is potentially on the brink of a remarkable chance to participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with Saudi club Al Hilal, as reports indicate they are keen on signing the Liverpool forward. Speculation surrounding Salah's future has intensified following a mysterious social media post from him, suggesting a possible goodbye as his contract with Liverpool approaches its conclusion in the 2024-2025 season.

Journalist Ben Jacobs shared on talkSPORT that Al Hilal is gearing up to present a significant offer for Salah ahead of the Club World Cup next summer, with plans to finalize the deal between June 1 and 10. Jacobs highlighted that Saudi officials, spearheaded by Pro League sporting director Michael Emenalo, are ramping up their efforts, particularly as Al Hilal positions itself as the leading contender. This potential transfer could also influence broadcasting rights, particularly in Egypt, as the Saudi league aims to leverage Salah's popularity in the region.
