Mohamed Belloumi in the running for Premier League Player of the Matchweek 4 award
The Algerian winger caused a sensation with Hull City on Saturday 12 September against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
With his team trailing the Blues 1-0, Mohamed Belloumi turned the game around in just a few minutes. The Algerian first equalised in the 28th minute to make it 1–1, before putting the Tigers ahead 2–1 in the 34th minute, completely turning the match on its head.
It was this memorable performance that earned Mohamed Belloumi a place on the shortlist for the Premier League Player of the Week award for Matchday 4. However, the competition looks set to be fierce for the Algerian winger.
Elliot Anderson, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Leif Davis, Pascal Gross, Joao Pedro, David Raya and Kevin Schade have also been nominated for the award. So, to win the honour, Mohamed Belloumi will have to beat these seven rivals.
