Croatia hosted the Faroe Islands in a decisive World Cup 2026 qualifier, a match that proved crucial for Zlatko Dalić’s men.
Details: The Faroes struck first, opening the scoring in the 16th minute. However, just seven minutes later the match was level at 1–1. In the second half, Croatia added two more goals — Musa scored in the 57th minute, followed by Vlašić in the 70th.
As a result, Croatia defeated the Faroe Islands 3–1. After seven rounds, the Croatians sit on 19 points, holding a six-point lead over second place with just one match left in the qualifiers. With that, Croatia have officially booked their ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
