Modric's chances of contract extension with Real evaluated

Midfielder Luka Modric is a true legend of Real Madrid. However, it seems the "Merengues" want to continue their tradition of poorly parting ways with their iconic players.

Details: According to As, the Croatian will be one of the players Real will show the door to this summer as part of a squad overhaul. This season has further highlighted the necessity for change, and the club's management has decided to act on it.

In fact, Modric will leave the team. The midfielder's contract runs until June 30, 2025, and there are only slim chances that the club management will offer the Croatian an extension. The same fate awaits Lucas Vazquez.

Reminder: Despite a shaky start, Modric eventually became a key figure in the team that has dominated European competitions in recent years. He has played over 580 matches for Real, and the Croatian has previously emphasized that he would like to end his career at the royal club.
