Modric urges caution over signing new contract with Real

Real Madrid legend Luka Modric has clearly expressed his desire to end his career at the "Royal club," but he urges caution in assuming that a contract extension deal will definitely be finalized.

Quote. "Will a new contract be signed with Real? Don't rush. The season is still long, we have many games left. Let's see how it goes. My dream is clear — to retire at Real," Modric told Telefoot.

Earlier, it was reported that the 39-year-old Croatian footballer informed Real's management that he wants to extend his contract for another season.

In 44 matches this season, Modric has scored 4 goals and provided 7 assists for Los Blancos.

Reminder. It was previously revealed the condition under which Man City star Erling Haaland will demand a transfer to Real Madrid.
