Modrić sets historic record for Real Madrid players, surpassing Puskás
Real Madrid claimed a hard-fought victory in their postponed match from the 12th round of La Liga against Valencia (2-1). The "Blancos" were trailing until the 85th minute but then scored two goals to snatch all three points.
One of the goals was scored by the experienced midfielder of Real Madrid, Luka Modrić. In doing so, the Croatian set a historical record for Real Madrid players.
Details. By scoring against Valencia, the captain of "Los Blancos" became the oldest goalscorer in Real's history in official competitions (39 years and 116 days), surpassing the legendary Ferenc Puskás (39 years and 15 days).
