This season has been Manchester United's worst of the millennium, and among the most disappointing in the club's storied history. Any hope of salvaging the campaign vanished when United fell to Tottenham in the Europa League final—a defeat that has directly impacted the club’s financial approach to the summer transfer window.

Details: According to The Guardian, head coach Ruben Amorim will be handed no more than £100 million for transfers this summer. This means planned investments in Liam Delap and Matheus Cunha won’t require selling any current squad members.

As for other, less urgent reinforcements, those moves will depend on offloading players considered surplus to requirements. The futures of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Joshua Zirkzee, and Alejandro Garnacho, among others, remain highly uncertain.

Reminder: Earlier, the Portuguese manager refused to resign, but if the club decides to part ways, he will leave Manchester United without seeking compensation.
