MLS clubs reimbursed fans for expensive Inter Miami match tickets without Messi
Lionel Messi is spending his final seasons in MLS, but not all fans are pleased. The Argentine misses certain matches, and opponents are left to find ways to make amends with the fans.
Details: As reported by AS, the clubs Vancouver Whitecaps and Houston Dynamo were forced to respond to Messi's absence in the matches. He did not take to the field, yet the tickets for these games were very expensive. In response, the Canadian club offered fans significant discounts on snacks, while the Texas team provided free tickets to another MLS match.
Interestingly, recently the head coach of Inter Miami, Javier Mascherano, gave the legendary Lionel Messi a rest for the second consecutive match. Despite this, the team still triumphed over their opponent in the CONCACAF Cup round of 16.
Reminder: A photo recently surfaced showing the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner sporting a noticeably changed hairstyle.
