MLS club enters race for Mofokeng

Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng appears set to leave the Buccaneers this summer. Despite his previously reported failed move to Israel, another strong contender has emerged in the race for his signature.
Details: According to Israeli media, MLS side FC Cincinnati has expressed interest in signing Mofokeng. While the details of a potential deal have not been disclosed, a move to the United States is now considered more realistic. Reports suggest that Mofokeng’s family has raised concerns about the ongoing security situation in the Middle East.
Israeli outlets continue to claim that Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv have made offers to Orlando Pirates for the 20-year-old winger. However, Soccer Laduma insists that no formal talks have taken place between the Israeli clubs and the Soweto giants.
Reminder: Just two days ago, Moroccan coach Abdeslam Ouaddou was officially unveiled as the new head coach of Orlando Pirates.
