Miron Muslic appointed as new Schalke head coach!

Today, Schalke officially unveiled its new head coach. The man at the helm is Miron Muslic.

Details: The Austrian manager makes the move to the German club from Plymouth, though both clubs have agreed not to disclose the specifics of the transfer. The 42-year-old has signed a two-year contract.

Schalke becomes the third club in Muslic’s managerial career. Under the Austrian’s guidance, Belgian side Cercle Brugge climbed from the bottom of the Belgian league standings and managed to secure a spot in the group stage of the Conference League.

At Plymouth, Muslic replaced Wayne Rooney as head coach, overseeing 21 Championship matches, with his team avoiding defeat in 12 of them. Unfortunately, the club couldn’t stave off relegation, finishing three points adrift of safety.
