Milan will offer a new contract to one of its key players

Italian club Milan, in addition to strengthening their squad during this transfer window, aims to retain all of their key players. Club CEO Giorgio Furlani plans to meet with Theo Hernandez’s representatives after the team returns from their preseason tour in the USA to discuss a new contract with the French defender, according to Calciomercato.
According to the source, the "Rossoneri" will offer the 26-year-old player a contract worth six million euros per year, plus 500,000 euros in various bonuses. This offer is close to Hernandez’s initial request of eight million euros per year, so Milan is optimistic about the prospects of continuing their cooperation. However, besides the financial terms, Hernandez wants certain guarantees regarding the club’s development project.
It is reported that Milan’s leader was deeply disappointed with the team's performance last season and wants to ensure that the club strengthens the squad this summer. The player's current contract with the Italian club runs until June 30, 2026, and his market value is estimated at 60 million euros by Transfermarkt.
