Milan traveled to face Empoli in the 19th round of the Italian Serie A.
The Rossoneri seized a comfortable lead with two goals by the end of the first half-hour of play. Loftus-Cheek opened the scoring from Leao's assist, and 20 minutes later, Giroud converted a penalty.
The second half also saw Milan's dominance, as they added another goal. The emphatic scoreline was rounded off by 19-year-old Shaka Traore, who scored his second professional goal.
The Rossoneri have gathered 39 points, securing the third position in the Serie A table. On January 10th, Stefano Pioli's team will face Atalanta. Empoli, currently in the penultimate 19th position, will meet Verona in the next round.
