There are many indications that in the summer, Milan will say goodbye to 37-year-old forward Olivier Giroud, who is currently playing one of the leading roles in Stefano Pioli's team. The Rossoneri have thought of a substitute for the Frenchman, which they found themselves with at hand.

The Frenchman is now being replaced by Serbian Luka Jović, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they are ready to offer him an extension for another year. The current contract runs until the end of the current season.

Despite this, the San Siro would like to find a forward under 25 years of age, who would be fully and completely entrusted with the attack, as the Serbian should not be fully relied on due to his unstable form in Milan.

Jovic has featured in 24 of the Rossoneri's matches this season, but only nine of them have seen him in Pioli's starting line-up, totalling only 971 minutes on the pitch. Nevertheless, he has scored eight goals and provided one assist.
