Icardi could soon return to Serie A.

Details: According to reputable journalist Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, 32-year-old Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, currently playing for Turkish side Galatasaray, could join Italian giants AC Milan.

It is reported that Milan have added Icardi to their shortlist of potential signings, as the club is seeking an experienced player of high caliber who does not require a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup—criteria that Icardi fits perfectly.

Additionally, it's noted that apart from Milan, three unnamed South American clubs have also shown interest in Icardi.

Icardi joined Galatasaray from PSG in 2023 for a fee of €10 million. This season, Mauro has made 20 appearances for Galatasaray, netting 7 goals.

Icardi's current contract with the Turkish giants runs until the summer of 2026, which could make a move to Milan a free transfer. His current market value is estimated at €8 million.

Reminder: Milan enters the race for Joshua Zirkzee
