AC Milan secured a 3-1 victory over Club Brugge in the third round of the UEFA
Champions League group stage. Midfielder Tijjani Reijnders played a key role in the win by scoring twice.
Reijnders became the third Dutch player to net 2+ goals in a single UEFA Champions League match for Milan, following Marco van Basten in 1992 (four goals against Göteborg) and Clarence Seedorf in 2007 (two goals against Shakhtar).
After three rounds, Milan has earned three points, having lost their first two matches in Europe’s most prestigious club competition under manager Paulo Fonseca.
