Milan have announced the transfer of the former Barcelona defender

AC Milan continues to be one of the most active Italian clubs in the transfer market. Today, the Rossoneri announced their third summer signing.

This time, Milan has strengthened the right-back position. Emerson Royal has joined from Tottenham for €15 million, with his contract running until the summer of 2028.

Emerson Royal is expected to replace Alessandro Florenzi in the Milan squad, who suffered a severe injury and will miss most of the upcoming season.

Earlier this summer, Milan signed central defender Strahinja Pavlović from Red Bull Salzburg and Spain's national team striker Álvaro Morata from Atlético Madrid.

Last season, Emerson Royal made 22 Premier League appearances for Tottenham, scoring 1 goal.

The 25-year-old Brazilian has previously played for Barcelona and Real Betis.
