After Olivier Giroud's departure, Milan has been searching for a forward to replace the Frenchman. Rumors heavily link Bologna's forward Joshua Zirkzee with a move to San Siro, and journalist Nicolò Schira assures that the transfer is almost finalized.

A contract has already been prepared for the forward until 2029 with a salary of 5 million euros per season. The club only needs to finalize the last details regarding the player's agent commissions, but Milan is confident that the deal will be completed in the coming days.

The transfer fee will amount to 40 million euros, which is equal to the buyout clause stipulated in the player's contract with Bologna.

It's worth noting that the 23-year-old forward has been playing for Bologna since the summer of 2022, when he was acquired from Bayern Munich for 8.5 million euros. Since then, Joshua has scored 14 goals and provided 8 assists in 58 matches.
