Milan Considering Summer Exit for Musah
AC Milan is assessing possible departures for the upcoming summer transfer window following the underperformance of several players, including Yunus Musah. The 22-year-old American midfielder, a teammate of Santiago Giménez on the US national team, has not met expectations despite gaining minutes under Stefano Pioli. With 24 Serie A appearances (1,393 minutes), his contribution is limited to two assists and no goals, marked by inaccuracies in midfield and low offensive impact.
Although his contract with Milan runs until 2028, the club would consider a sale if an attractive offer comes in. Italian media and journalist Nicolò Schira point to Olympique Lyonnais as a possible suitor, although no formal negotiations have taken place. Musah joined in 2023, but his future is in jeopardy if his performance does not improve.
Milan, currently ninth in the league, is four points away from European spots. Despite hopes of a return to the Champions League given the squad's quality, the team is struggling to stabilize, increasing the pressure for roster adjustments. Musah's situation reflects a recurring issue: players with potential who fail to fully develop in the Rossoneri project.
