Mike Tyson’s son Amir reveals whether his father will return to the ring
Amir Tyson has addressed speculation about whether his father, the legendary "Iron" Mike Tyson, will step into the boxing ring again. According to Amir, the decision largely hinges on Mike’s wife.
"I think he's done. My stepmom, she's saying he's done and they're a team," Amir stated.
Previously, following his bout with Jake Paul, Tyson had shown interest in a potential fight against Jake's older brother, Logan. After the match, when asked about future opponents, Mike pointed to Logan as a possibility.
However, Tyson's age and ongoing health concerns seem to have solidified his decision to step away from the sport.
"This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I'm grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June," Tyson shared on X.
Mike Tyson made his return to the ring for the first time since 2005 to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. Despite his legendary status, Tyson appeared far from his peak form, failing to land any significant punches. The fight concluded with a unanimous decision in favor of Paul.
