Michael Essien Believes Chelsea Will Bounce Back After Disappointing Season

Michael Essien has weighed in on Chelsea’s difficult season, describing the campaign as disappointing while urging fans to remain supportive of the squad.

The former Chelsea midfielder, speaking in an interview with fan Lloyd Canfield, reflected on what he described as a disappointing campaign, pointing to inconsistency and underwhelming results given the quality within the squad.

According to Essien, the performances have not matched the level expected from a team with such depth and talent, but he believes the situation is not beyond repair.

“It’s been a very disappointing season, considering the players they have,” Essien said. “We have to give them support and see what they can do.”
