Carlos Moreno, the goalkeeper for Pachuca, has been dropped from Mexico's national team for the CONCACAF Nations League Finals due to an unexpected issue: he did not receive his visa in time to travel to the USA.

The absence of this document prevented him from joining the rest of the team in Los Angeles.

The coaching staff, led by Javier Aguirre, no longer counts on Moreno for this FIFA period, as regulations do not allow for a roster replacement for reasons unrelated to injury, reports Mediotiempo.

Thus, "El Tri" will face the semifinal against Canada with only two goalkeepers available: Luis Ángel Malagón (América) and Raúl "Tala" Rangel (Chivas).

Moreno, who was considered an interesting option after his successful performances for Pachuca, will miss the opportunity to debut for the national team.

Meanwhile, Mexico is preparing for the crucial match on Thursday against Canada with the aim of reaching the final of the regional tournament.
