Messi will miss two upcoming Argentina's matches

Legendary Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi will miss the next two friendly matches of the Argentine national team.

As reported by the official website of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), Messi will remain in Miami due to a minor injury he sustained in the CONCACAF Champions Cup round of 16 against Nashville (3-1).

It's worth noting that Messi also missed Inter Miami's previous MLS match against DC United due to the same injury. Despite his absence, his team won 3-1 thanks to a brace from Luis Suárez.

On March 23rd, Argentina will play against El Salvador in Philadelphia, and four days later, they will face Costa Rica in Los Angeles.

In 180 matches for the Argentine national team, Messi has scored 106 goals and provided 56 assists.
