Lionel Messi helped his team secure their first victory at the Club World Cup, netting the decisive goal in the match against Porto. The football star shared his reaction to the event on his Instagram page.
Messi posted several photos from the match, captioning them: “Very happy with the win over a tough opponent. The team gave everything and deserved this. We keep going!! @intermiamicf”.
It's worth noting that it was Leo Messi who scored the goal that clinched the win for his side. The Argentine netted a stunning free-kick in the 54th minute, putting Inter ahead 2-1.
As a reminder, in their opening group stage match, the Americans drew 0-0 with Egypt's Al Ahly. In the final round of the group, they will face Brazil's Palmeiras, who, like Inter Miami, have 4 points after two matches.
