Messi has signed a contract with a Ligue 1 team
Young footballer Ryan Messi has signed a contract with Ligue 1 team Strasbourg.
The French club announced on their official channels that the contract with the 17-year-old winger runs until 2027. Initially, Ryan Messi will join the Racing Mutest academy. Fabrizio Romano previously reported that the transfer fee is 1.5 million euros with add-ons.
Last season, Ryan Messi played for Dijon in France's third division. He made four appearances and scored one goal.
Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain is unlikely to pursue the English player. Jadon Sancho is no longer part of the Parisian club's plans.
Furthermore, the legendary forward Kevin Durant had a highly productive trip to Paris. The 35-year-old Phoenix Suns player first won gold at the 2024 Olympics with Team USA and then ventured into the football business.
