Memories of triumph: Arturo Vidal releases video celebrating Chile's Copa América 2015 victory

Chilean national team star Arturo Vidal has shared his memories of the squad's Copa América 2015 triumph. The midfielder posted a video commemorating the victory on his YouTube channel.

Vidal teased the video on his Instagram page, captioning it: “Ten years since Chile’s historic first Copa América. I still get chills every time I think about that unforgettable night in July 2015... ❤️🇨🇱⚽️ Check out my YouTube channel 'El Reinado de Vidal'! 📺🛑”.

As a reminder, that edition of the Copa América was hosted by Chile, and the home side delivered a true celebration to their fans, securing their first-ever tournament victory.

In the final, Chile edged past Argentina in a penalty shootout (4-1), with Vidal successfully converting his spot-kick.

Incidentally, the following year, 2016, saw another Copa América—this time marking the tournament’s centenary. Chile once again celebrated glory, defeating Argentina on penalties in the final for a second consecutive year.
