Media Reports Reveal Surprising Twist in Al Ahly Star Imam Ashour's Injury Situation

Media reports have created surprises about Emam Ashour, Al Ahly's injured star who was ruled out of Egypt's upcoming Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifiers. Ashour picked the injury in their recent league game against ZED, and this made a skeptical Egyptian Football Association (EFA) member doubt he has such an injury and may be doing that to avoid the national team camp.

Al Ahly announced that Ashour suffered a mild hamstring strain and was given a recovery program during the League break. However, Al Nahar channel reports that now Ashour is fully fit and ready for group training, since he shows minimal marks from his injury. While head coach Hossam Hassan is reportedly never intending to call him up in light of his recent form, Al Ahly remain committed to his recovery since there will be a return match against Al Ittihad on November 22 at Cairo International Stadium.
