After a thrilling 2-2 tie in regular time, MC Alger defeated rivals CR Belouizdad in a penalty shootout (4-3) to win the Algerian Super Cup. The 5 July Stadium in Algiers hosted the final.
In the 14th minute, Sofiane Bayazid gave MC Alger the lead with a penalty kick, and in the 27th minute, Ayoub Abdellaoui doubled the score. CR Belouizdad rallied in the second half, and Aymen Mahious equalized the score with a strong header in the 87th minute and a penalty kick in the 72nd.
In an exciting contest that ended in a penalty shootout after the game was deadlocked at the end of regulation, MC Alger won (4-3) to win the Super Cup.
