MC Alger crowned Algerian champions for the third consecutive season
With two matchdays remaining in the league
This is the Algerian club’s tenth title in its history.
MC Alger needed only a draw to officially secure the Algerian Ligue 1 title for the 2025–2026 season. And against MB Rouissat on Friday 8 May, the team delivered. This match on matchday 28 of the Algerian professional league ended in a 1-1 draw.
This officially confirmed Mouloudia Club d'Alger’s title win. They have thus secured their third consecutive Algerian league title and the tenth in their history.
MC Alger were crowned champions after dominating Ligue 1. They accumulated 62 points from 28 matches throughout the season.
