Good news for Real Madrid fans: the Blancos' striker Kylian Mbappé is close to returning to the pitch and could feature in the upcoming Club World Cup round of 16 clash against Juventus.
According to AS, the 26-year-old Frenchman has already completed several training sessions with the main squad and is steadily regaining match fitness after recovering from gastroenteritis.
For the record, on June 19, Mbappé was hospitalized due to severe illness and only returned to Xabi Alonso's squad a week later. The illness resulted in significant weight loss, forcing Kylian to miss the entire group stage of the tournament.
