Mbappé scored his first goal for Real Madrid and his 49th in the UEFA Champions League

Real Madrid, the reigning UEFA Champions League champions, began their title defense on Tuesday, September 17, with a match against Stuttgart.

Kylian Mbappé made a dazzling debut for the "Whites" in the Champions League. In the 46th minute, following a pass from Rodrygo, the French forward put Real ahead, scoring his first goal for the Madrid side in the competition.

Additionally, this goal moved Mbappé past Zlatan Ibrahimović in the all-time Champions League goalscoring chart. Mbappé now has 49 goals, compared to Ibrahimović's 48.
