Mauro Icardi shares new training photos from Galatasaray base
Galatasaray star Mauro Icardi has showcased his involvement in the team’s training sessions, giving fans a glimpse behind the scenes. The striker posted several photos on his Instagram page.
Icardi also shared a post from the Instagram account of spor, which published numerous pictures of the Argentinian from the training ground, captioned: “Icardi, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury last season, attracted attention with his lean and fit appearance ahead of the new campaign.”
The player is indeed in impressive physical shape and appears fully prepared to ramp up his preseason preparations.
Let’s recall that Icardi was forced to sit out almost the entire previous football year due to injury — he was sidelined in November 2024 and hasn’t returned to the pitch since then.
It’s worth noting that Mauro Icardi has just one year left on his contract with Galatasaray — the deal runs until summer 2026. It remains unclear whether the two sides will agree to an extension.
