The drama between the former lovers continues as Mauro Icardi speaks out on the latest accusations made by his ex-wife, Wanda Nara. The footballer made a statement on his Instagram page regarding the claim that he hit the son of Wanda and her ex-husband, Maxi López.
Icardi firmly dismissed all allegations of child abuse, of which he is the stepfather. He stated that Wanda is lying, as she has done many times before. Mauro wrote that she previously claimed he attacked her, yet later came to his house as if nothing had happened.

"I don't understand if the person accusing me of violence is the same one who writes to me asking to visit the three children, because I raised them and they call me father, according to her exact words," reads Icardi's statement.

The Argentine even attached a screenshot of their conversation to prove that she invited him to meet her children.
Icardi also added that he believes Nara's behavior is a result of her uncontrollable hatred for his current girlfriend, China Suárez.
It should be noted that Icardi's Instagram stories containing the statement have now been deleted.
