Mauritanian midfielder Bahmed Deuff joins Royal Antwerp on loan
The 20-year-old Mauritanian international will play in the Belgian Pro League during the 2026–2027 season.
Bahmed Deuff is set to make his debut in the Belgian league. The 20-year-old Mauritanian is leaving his youth club, FC Nantes, for the first time to embark on a new adventure.
The midfielder has been loaned out by the Ligue 2 club to Royal Antwerp in Belgium for one season, with an option to buy. If the Belgian club decides to exercise the option to buy the Mauritanian at the end of his loan next June, Bahmed Deuff is unlikely to return to France. He would thus continue his career in Belgium.
The Mauritanian international is a versatile midfielder. Bahmed Deuff can play both as a centre-back and in midfield. With Royal Antwerp, Bahmed Deuff will have the opportunity to prove his talent, with the aim of establishing himself within his team and in the Belgian Pro League.
