Mason Greenwood joined Olympique de Marseille and has produced some impressive performances, but the forward has now decided to seek a new challenge in a different team and a different league.
Details: According to reports from Le10Sport, Greenwood has agreed to join Turkish giants Fenerbahçe S.K.. The Istanbul side will reportedly have to pay €50 million to secure the services of the former Manchester United F.C. player.
AS Roma are also interested in Greenwood, but they would now need to match Fenerbahçe's €50 million offer to win the race for his signature.
We recently reported that Fenerbahçe are close to signing Robert Lewandowski, 37, on a free transfer. The Turkish club are reportedly hoping to bring him in as a free agent and have already offered a contract running until 2028 with an annual salary of €10 million.
Reminder: Former S.S.C. Napoli head coach Antonio Conte could also continue his managerial career in Turkey.
