Marseille opens the door to Faris Moumbagna’s departure
The French club is reportedly prepared to accept a fee below the Cameroonian striker’s market value.
Olympique Marseille clearly no longer counts on Faris Moumbagna. The Cameroonian international is reportedly no longer part of the Marseille club’s plans.
Following his loan spell at Cremonese during the 2025–2026 season, the 26-year-old centre-forward is expected to leave Marseille permanently during this summer’s transfer window. According to reports, the French club has placed the Cameroonian player on the list of players to be transferred this summer.
Olympique Marseille are reportedly willing to let Faris Moumbagna leave for a fee of less than €1 million, whilst the Cameroonian is valued at over €3 million.
Although his contract runs until June 2028, the Cameroonian is expected to bring his time at Marseille to a close this summer. Faris Moumbagna has spent three seasons at Marseille.
