Details: French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin issued a decree prohibiting Marseille supporters from visiting the "Groupama" stadium for the game against Lyon. The decision is motivated by the significant risk of confrontation between the fans of the two clubs.

This measure also points to the fact that Marseille fans’ away trips are "very often a source of public disorder due to the aggressive behavior of some supporters." Fights between fans, violence against the police, and the use of pyrotechnics have been frequent occurrences.

The upcoming match on Sunday has been classified as "high risk" because games between these fierce rivals have become major flashpoints in recent seasons.

To recall: Last year's derby at the "Vélodrome" stadium had to be postponed after Marseille fans attacked Lyon's team bus. Lyon manager Fabio Grosso was injured during the incident when a projectile shattered the window of the bus he was in.
