Marriage could not be saved. Álvaro Morata and Alice Campello are getting divorced
The story of Álvaro Morata and Alice Campello has finally come to an end. The footballer confirmed to journalist Javi de Hoyos that the couple has officially started divorce proceedings, emphasizing an important detail—there is no third party involved in this situation.
According to the journalist, both sides’ lawyers are already taking care of the necessary paperwork. The 33-year-old striker and the 30-year-old influencer are parting ways after nine years of marriage, during which they had four children together. Sources close to the couple note that the decision was well-considered and made without any heated conflict, although this stage is proving to be extremely difficult emotionally for both.
After a crisis in the summer of 2024, Morata and Campello tried to give their relationship a second chance. They got back together, showcasing their happiness on social media: joint photos, heartfelt captions, and the sense that the tough times were behind them. However, a new round of problems proved decisive—this time, reconciliation wasn’t enough to save the marriage.
Javi de Hoyos, who spoke with Morata personally, noted that the footballer still considers Alice “the woman of his life.” According to him, they will maintain a family connection for the sake of their children and will strive to treat one another with the utmost respect, but unfortunately, the second chance just didn’t work out.
