Mark Hails Oyedeji’s Historic Election to World Olympians Body

Nigerian basketball promoter Igoche Mark has congratulated Olumide Oyedeji on his historic election as Secretary General of the World Olympians Association (WOA). Oyedeji, a former international and current NBBF board member for the South West, became the first African to hold the position after polling 55 of 106 votes.

Reacting, Mark called it “Wow! What a proud moment for Nigeria… a testament to your dedication, passion, and leadership,” adding that it shows “with faith, focus, and determination, the sky is the limit.”

Oyedeji, who leads the Nigeria Olympians Association and is NOC third vice president, will serve four years on the WOA board.
