Details: According to TeamTalk, incoming Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca has informed the club's management that he wants to sign 26-year-old Morocco international and Real Madrid winger Brahim Diaz.
Reports say that Maresca has always admired Diaz’s style of play. The winger took his first steps in senior football at the City academy and even made appearances for the first team, but moved to Real Madrid in 2019 for €18 million.
This season, Diaz has played 42 matches for Los Blancos, scoring 2 goals and providing 9 assists. His contract with Real runs until the summer of 2027, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €35 million.
