Napoli is considering Enzo Maresca as the main candidate for the head coach position in the event of Antonio Conte’s departure. For the second consecutive season, the Neapolitan club risks losing its manager and is already working through possible replacement options.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Napoli management holds Maresca’s work in high regard and believes he is capable of maintaining the team’s competitiveness at a high level. Interest in the specialist has noticeably intensified in recent days.
Previously, Fiorentina had also shown interest in Maresca, with Fabio Paratici being the driving force behind the potential appointment, despite the team’s stable performance under Paolo Vanoli’s leadership.
The situation is complicated by the fact that Maresca might receive other offers as well. Reports suggest he would be interested in returning to his homeland, especially if approached by the Italian Football Federation.
