Maresca has spoken out about intentions to sign Osimhen at Chelsea

One of the main transfer sagas of the past window was the departure of Victor Osimhen from Napoli. As in the winter, the Nigerian stayed in Naples, although there was interest in him. Including from Chelsea in London.

The behind-the-scenes talks on Osimhen's signing were revealed by Pensioners head coach Enzo Maresca, who emphasised that the club have no intention of conceding in talks:

‘We need players on our terms, we have to decide. If someone didn't come, it means the conditions were not good for us. We will see between now and January how things go. I don't know how many games we have, I have said many times that I prefer to focus on the present and the immediate future. In January we will see,’ the Italian is quoted by Corriere dello Sport.

On the last day of the transfer window, Chelsea loaned Jadon Sancho, while Raheem Sterling went on loan to the neighbourhood, namely to Arsenal in London.
