Maresca confirmed. Jackson to sign new contract with Chelsea

Chelsea's leading forward Nicolas Jackson is set to extend his contract with the "Blues."

This information was confirmed by Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca after the match against Crystal Palace.

When asked about Jackson's deal, the Chelsea manager said after the match:

"The only thing I know is that he is signing a new contract — I don’t know for how many years."

Earlier reports suggested that Jackson would extend his contract with the "Blues" until 2033.

Jackson scored 14 goals in the Premier League last season and has netted eight goals in his last eight matches. He also scored in Sunday's 1:1 draw against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
