The fans warmly welcomed the brother of their footballer, singing songs and chants in honor of Marcus and chanting his name.
Surely, both the fans and Dane Rashford were pleased with this visit, as later Aston Villa confidently defeated their opponents with a score of 1-3, significantly boosting their chances of advancing to the Champions League quarter-finals.
Rashford started in the main lineup and played 64 minutes as a left winger. He didn't manage to contribute directly to the scoreline, but the team's victory should boost the player's optimism.
It is worth noting that since joining Aston Villa, Marcus has played 7 matches for the Birmingham side, providing 3 assists. The loan agreement with the club is valid until the summer of 2025, after which Villa can choose to buy Rashford from Manchester United for £40 million.
