Marcus Rashford congratulates Aston Villa on their fifth consecutive Premier League victory
Aston Villa footballer Marcus Rashford was thrilled with his team's latest victory in the English Championship. He congratulated his teammates on the win over Newcastle on his personal Instagram page.
Rashford posted pictures from the match and captioned them, "What a performance from the boys. 5 in a row. We will keep pushing. See you on Tuesday."
Aston Villa was eliminated from the Champions League, although they also secured a victory in the return match against PSG, but in the Premier League, they continue their triumphant run. In the match against Newcastle, the Birmingham side secured their fifth consecutive victory, allowing them to remain in contention for a Champions League spot at the end of the season.
It should be noted that Aston Villa secured a very confident 4-1 victory over Newcastle. Marcus Rashford did not play an active role in this success, as he came on as a substitute only in the 82nd minute and did not make any scoring contributions.
In the English Championship this season, Rashford has played 9 matches for Aston Villa, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists. He also has 2 more assists in 4 Champions League matches.
