Marco Silva Confirms Alex Iwobi Will Miss Fulham Clash Against Bournemouth

Fulham manager Marco Silva has confirmed that Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi will be unavailable for his side’s Premier League home fixture against Bournemouth at Craven Cottage.

Iwobi has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has already missed Fulham’s last three league matches as he continues his recovery.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, Silva provided an update on the squad and revealed that the Nigeria international is still not fit enough to return to action.

“Ryan Sessegnon and Alex Iwobi, both with hamstring injuries, remain sidelined. Everyone else is available,” Silva said.
