Manchester United has once again endured a disappointing start to the new season, but it seems that head coach Erik ten Hag has little reason to worry about his potential dismissal for now.
According to the club's CEO, Oumar Berrada, Manchester United remains fully confident in the Dutch manager.
“Do we still believe in Erik ten Hag? Absolutely. We think Erik is the right coach for us and we’re fully backing him” Berrada told The Athletic.
Last season, Manchester United finished only 8th in the Premier League but managed to win the FA Cup. Surprisingly, the club's management extended ten Hag's contract until the summer of 2026.
In the first three rounds of the Premier League, United has secured only 3 points, and over the weekend, they suffered a humiliating 0-3 defeat to Liverpool.
In the group stage of the 2024/25 Europa League, ten Hag's team will face Twente, Porto, Fenerbahçe, PAOK, Bodø/Glimt, Viktoria Plzeň, Rangers, and FCSB.
