Manchester United wonderkid Jack Fletcher handed ban for homophobic remarks
The English Football Association was compelled to take action against the young midfielder.
Details: It was revealed today that 18-year-old attacking midfielder Jack Fletcher of Manchester United has received a six-match suspension as punishment for making homophobic remarks.
Reports indicate Fletcher shouted offensive language at a Barnsley player during the first round of the EFL Trophy.

However, Fletcher has already served five of the six matches – two for a red card received in the autumn and three since the charges were brought last month.

This season, Fletcher has made three appearances for Manchester United's first team, featuring against Wolverhampton, Newcastle, and Aston Villa, but is yet to register a goal or assist.
