Manchester United hosted the Premier League's main underdog, Sheffield United, at their home stadium in a rescheduled 29th round of the Premier League.

In the first half, Manchester United enjoyed substantial possession but struggled to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Unlike United, Sheffield United took the lead in the 35th minute.

The hosts equalized just before halftime, with Harry Maguire scoring his fourth goal of the season for the Red Devils.

The second half didn't start as planned for the hosts either. Ben Brereton unexpectedly put Sheffield ahead once again. Erik ten Hag's side managed to level the score again around the hour mark, with Bruno Fernandes converting a penalty to make it 2:2.

Following this, the pressure from the hosts only intensified, culminating in another goal from Fernandes, who completed his brace for the day. Rasmus Hojlund then sealed the match with the final goal.

Manchester United remain in sixth position with 63 points. Sheffield is the last.
