Manchester United will be able to enrich themselves even after their UEFA Europa League performances
Last Premier League season did not bring Manchester United a ticket to the European cups, but continental tournaments brought the team the FA Cup, and the Red Devils will spend the coming autumn in the UEFA Europa League. Despite its status as the second most important European cup, it will enrich the club somewhat.
This, according to Football Insider, is fuelled by the fact that in the UEFA Europa League each of the teams will now play four rather than three home games, and the status of the opponents will be higher:
"If you talk about the value of the Europa League, there's a minimum of four home games in the extended Swiss style.Manchester United will be able to set decent prices because there will be some good games against good teams in the Europa League.
They will get somewhere around £4 million per match from ticket sales. So that's £16 million just from the group stage, which will double to £32+ million by the time they reach the final.
So those are the figures we'll be looking at, so that will be good for Manchester United," we read in the report.
